Installing CCTV, automatic barriers, gates, bollards and roller shutters

Ultimate Control:

For the ultimate control of the perimeter of your site automatic gates should be considered over the rising arm barrier. Electronically controlled operators are available which can open and close gates weighing well over a tonne.

Maintenance Plan

CCTV systems installed in Kent, Sussex and Surrey

A fully comprehensive maintenance contract is also available so that you can budget for the servicing of the gates with one annual charge or our easy monthly budget plan. .

Installation

As with all of the access control systems that we install, Allen & Feldhaus Security undertake all parts of the work involved in fitting the door operator, including installation and testing of the electrical supply, unless you have your own contracted electrician, responsible for the electrical installation in your premises.

Steel Palisade Gates:

Steel gates designed in the palisade style, i.e. with no horizontal bars, present quite a challenge to a would-be intruder. All automated gates are designed with safety in mind, complying with the latest European safety standards. Full risk assessments are carried out for all installations and maintenance contracts are provided to ensure the continued trouble free & safe operation of all automatic gates, thereby ensuring that all safety obligations are complied with.

Off-the-shelf:

Allen & Feldhaus installs automatic gates which have an excellent pedigree and are used all over the world. There is an entire range of products available off-the-shelf - all with an enviable technical service support available to the installer.

Installation:

Automatic gates can be operated by many different control systems, including:

  • intercom
  • pass card or proximity device
  • key pad
  • fingerprint reader
  • number plate recognition (ANPR)
  • automatically detecting the vehicle (ground loop)

Regular Maintenance:

The electromechanical nature of an automatic gate installation means that routine maintenance should be carried out. To this end, we offer simple maintenance contracts for our customers in the southern Home Counties. We normally suggest two planned preventative maintenance visits to minimise the chance of failure. Additionally the Health and Safety Executive, in their latest Safety Notice pertaining to Automatic Gate Installation, cites the European Directives EN12445, 12453, 12635 which state that you have an obligation to have automated gates regularly maintained in a safe condition.
